ConductorVladimir Yatskevich
Founder, music director and principal conductor of Moscow City Orchestra. Opera, symphonic and choral repertoire — from chamber halls to the State Kremlin Palace.

A choral ear. A symphonic sense of form.
Vladimir Yatskevich is a Russian conductor whose natural home is music where orchestra, chorus and soloists breathe as one.
He graduated from the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music in three disciplines, including choral conducting (class of A. Solovyov) and opera-symphonic conducting, and completed an assistantship-internship with Professor V. Ziva.
In the opera house he conducted Tchaikovsky’s “Eugene Onegin”; for this production and his concert work he received the Scholarship of the Governor of Moscow Region (2014–2015). Laureate of national and international competitions, including Third Prize at a conducting competition in Krasnoyarsk.
He founded and leads Moscow City Orchestra, performing in formations from chamber ensemble to full symphony orchestra with chorus. Venues include the State Kremlin Palace, the Hall of Columns of the House of Unions, Moscow International Performing Arts Center and the Moscow Conservatory; he has collaborated with soloists of the Mariinsky Theatre.
